Their more current recordings of traditional mariachi songs showcase their great musical ability while adhering to traditional styles of playing the classic mariachi songs. Nuevo Tecatitlan Mariachi - For a long time there has been a great need for a new generation of quality Mariachi groups. And it is with great excitement that we announce the new Mariachi ensemble from the city of Guadalajara, Nuevo Tecatitlan Mariachi. This talented group of musicians will perform all of the classic songs of Mexico's history as well as many new ones. From lively renditions of "El Rey, Volver Volver, and Guadalajara to some of the most well known Mariachi songs of all time, this performance will showcase the brilliant harmonies and the most sophisticated musical arrangements to be found in traditional mariachi music.
The Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre is a downtown Salt Lake City venue that will be the perfect location for this show. The Capitol is a historic theatre, which seats up to 1,900 people, and features an orchestra, balcony and mezzanine. The theatre's classic, intimate style is sure to make for a great concert venue.
